If you would like to arrange maintenance care on an existing flat bronze marker, please follow the CONVENIENCES SERVICES tab to learn about the associated charges. To schedule maintenance care on an existing flat bronze marker, please call the cemetery office. For recent interments and for a limited amount of time following the interment, Blue Hill Cemetery will provide a temporary marker at the gravesite.
ADORNING A GRAVESITE YOURSELF
Fresh cut or artificial flowers must be placed in the bronze vase that is attached to the flat bronze marker. The standard timeframe (weather permitting) for having the vase in an upright position is April through October. We require all fresh cut or artificial flowers to be removed from the vase and the vase to be inverted no later than November 1. Planting flowers or shrubbery on a flat bronze marker lot is prohibited. If you would like to learn about the floral services provided by Blue Hill Cemetery, please follow the CONVENIENCES SERVICES and/or ADORNMENT GUIDELINES tabs.
