In-Ground Placement of a Casket or Urn
The prices listed below are for the RIGHT OF PLACEMENT (INTERMENT) of any casket or urn in the lot. The purchaser / deed holder owns the RIGHT OF PLACEMENT while Blue Hill Cemetery retains ownership of the property.
The prices listed below do not include our charges for interment; please click on the ANCILLARY CHARGES tab on our home page to view those charges.
We require the installation of an Outer Burial Container for the interment of each casket in the lot. The Outer Burial Container maintains the integrity of the interment over time.
A Right of Second Interment allowing for two interments per grave may be purchased unless otherwise restricted.
Foundation and Setting charges will be incurred for the installation of upright stone monuments and flat bronze markers; please click on the ANCILLARY CHARGES tab on our home page to view those charges.
The GARDEN OF HONOR plans indicated below include Rights of Second Interment, Outer Burial Containers, and Foundation and Setting charges as indicated.

MEMORIALIZATION WITH FLAT BRONZE MARKERS
VETERAN’S BRONZE MEMORIAL MARKER
Every honorably discharged veteran is entitled to a bronze memorial marker at no cost. Blue Hill Cemetery will order the veteran’s marker directly from the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We will need a copy of the veteran’s DD-214 discharge documents to initiate the order. The marker will be shipped directly to the cemetery for installation.
Each Veteran’s Plan includes installation of the veteran’s marker. When the plan includes a flat bronze matching marker, that marker is for the non-veteran.
